Spectators: 7425 (Terracing: 5570, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 148) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Abel Domiku made the kick off which started today's match. Rosendo Umea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Fe in the 2nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Thunders's zone, Benedicto Botello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Umea came out of the goal and Benedicto Botello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rosendo Umea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Fe, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After a rather tough play, Xl Team's Ruperto Abascal got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 11th match minute, Thunders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Mon to maneuver through the defense. Xl Team's Ruperto Fe got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xl Team's attentive Ciro Bitxintxo managed to snatch the ball when Fabricio Orlin made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. In the 16th minute Ruperto Fe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Umea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erubiel Cordeal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Domiku in the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Thunders booed when Xl Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Guillelmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rosendo Umea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Fe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Xl Team's Ruperto Fe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rosendo Umea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute Benedicto Botello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Umea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 played minutes Xl Team got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Rius. After a defensive mix-up in Thunders's zone, Mateo Guillelmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Umea came out of the goal and Mateo Guillelmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes into the match, Ruperto Fe notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Thunders's Rosendo Umea. Rosendo Umea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute of the game Braulio Stanislao made a throw-in which Ruperto Abascal played forward. Ciro Bitxintxo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruperto Abascal made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Xl Team got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Abascal. Rosendo Umea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mateo Guillelmo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 54 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruperto Abascal got free with Rosendo Umea in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rosendo Umea made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Ruperto Abascal sent off a good shot on target. When Mateo Guillelmo came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Xl Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Guillelmo couldn't finish the play. Elias Meder kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Thunders's Rosendo Umea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Thunders from getting a goal against them. Xl Team's Mateo Guillelmo got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Xl Team's Rosendo Umea threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ruperto Fe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 84 minutes into the match, Ruperto Abascal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rosendo Umea. Thunders's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruperto Abascal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Mateo Guillelmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd match minute, Thunders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Orlin to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Xl Team left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Thunders.
