Jaime Hustaz charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Hustaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 51st minute, Benjamin Ubarna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the game, Ruperto Leobardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Patricio Dolcet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carmelo Cordarrell kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see C.A Los Andes's Anacleto Martino in action when he in the 69th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After a rather tough play, Haumonia's Vladimiro Cerilo got a free kick in the 75th minute. When Agustin Mosen fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haumonia's protests and gave Agustin Mosen a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Haumonia getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Agustin Mosen hit a great ball. In the 81st match minute, C.A Los Andes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Miro to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Dolcet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Leobardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Ubarna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 minutes of play Haumonia's Vladimiro Cerilo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Vladimiro Cerilo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see C.A Los Andes lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
