Aldosivi's Cristobal Xabier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Herauso in the 15th minute of play. Benigno Romano might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristobal Xabier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benigno Romano ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th minute, Benigno Romano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ramblones fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 21st minute, Miguel Ángel Willis made a precise shot to the right of Cristobal Xabier. Aldosivi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. When Abel Sazon fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Raul Itzaina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Rafael Oriche made a huge save. In the 39th match minute, Ramblones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Herauso to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ramblones's zone, Raul Itzaina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Oriche came out of the goal and Raul Itzaina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Ramblones getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. 叶战谦 hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raul Itzaina got free with Rafael Oriche in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Benigno Romano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Xabier having to interfere. If Raul Itzaina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ramblones's Cristo Herauso got a free kick in the 56th minute. Miguel Ángel Willis did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised Cristobal Xabier 60 minutes into the match. When Abel Sazon was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. A collision led to Aldosivi getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Abel Sazon hit a great ball. When Cristobal Musko fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ramblones's protests and gave Cristobal Musko a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Ramblones got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Musko. If Apolo Felipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Rolando Fraco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristobal Xabier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Ángel Willis in the 73rd minute. 78 minutes into the match, Benigno Romano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristobal Xabier. Aldosivi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benigno Romano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Benigno Romano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramblones's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Romano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Xabier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Benigno Romano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute.
