Ignacio Soin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Lisandro Nerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Justino Ascencio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lisandro Nerio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ignacio Soin's late challenge caught a Bucarest FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ignacio Soin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Ignacio Soin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rodrigo Etxahun came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Atahona FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Etxahun couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Urbasa got free with Alvaro Aresti in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alvaro Aresti was a little too slow when Severiano Inocente got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 33rd match minute, Atahona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchor Emeterio to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Prudencio Mikelar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alvaro Aresti. That made the score 2-2 in the 45 minute of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Lisandro Nerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 53 minutes of play, Bucarest FC's Severiano Inocente made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvaro Aresti was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Urbasa in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Aresti saved Atahona FC from getting behind. Aquiles Chaime took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvaro Aresti. Alvaro Aresti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Alvaro Aresti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Inocente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquiles Chaime fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Aresti having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Marcos Lopez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Prudencio Mikelar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Aresti having to interfere. A hard shot 69 in the game by Justino Ascencio from a close distance when the talented Lisandro Nerio managed to make a qualified save. Bucarest FC's players were relieved. Justino Ascencio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 70th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Lisandro Nerio came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Atahona FC's Marcos Lopez. But to his dismay, Marcos Lopez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. In the 76thth minute of the game Prudencio Mikelar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atahona FC's Alvaro Aresti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute, Aquiles Chaime got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Marcos Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atahona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Lopez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lisandro Nerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 93 minutes, Prudencio Mikelar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bucarest FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudencio Mikelar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Aquiles Chaime managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bucarest FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquiles Chaime was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Aresti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
