Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edelmiro Hanni in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Froilan Crispo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tigre's Froilan Crispo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Timo in the 42nd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nemesio Tiadoro to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tigre had won after a very even match.
