Amado Manny made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Generoso Xabel sent off a good shot on target. Amado Manny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Misael, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Amado Manny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Xabel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Va el Tercero's goalkeeper Amado Manny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Socorro. Amado Manny made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Raimundo Socorro sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute of the match, Generoso Xabel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amado Manny saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 33 played minutes Va el Tercero got a freekick which was hit by Simon Venerando. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Lehoi in the 34th minute of play forced Va el Tercero's goalkeeper Amado Manny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusebio Lehoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Va el Tercero defense, Ermegildo Misael kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amado Manny. The Va el Tercero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amado Manny should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Jerrald in the 42nd minute of play forced Club Atlético Batán's goalkeeper Ali Chew to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnaldo Cesaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Va el Tercero booed when Club Atlético Batán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Mederi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amado Manny came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Batán's Generoso Xabel. But to his dismay, Generoso Xabel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Generoso Xabel took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amado Manny. Amado Manny dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Amado Manny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Misael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amado Manny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Xabel, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When Raimundo Socorro came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Club Atlético Batán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Socorro couldn't finish the play. Va el Tercero's Amado Manny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Xabel in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Xabel in the 87th minute of play forced Va el Tercero's goalkeeper Amado Manny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Manny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Xabel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute of the match Eusebio Lehoi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amado Manny skillfully saved the ball. After 92 minutes, Ricardo Jerrald mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Va el Tercero and the Club Atlético Batán players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Va el Tercero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Jerrald to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute of the match Eusebio Lehoi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amado Manny showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 94 minutes of play Va el Tercero's Ricardo Jerrald was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 94th minute, Ricardo Jerrald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 played minutes, Club Atlético Batán's Eusebio Lehoi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amado Manny came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atlético Batán reached it. When the referee ended the match the Club Atlético Batán players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
