Osvaldo Manny lost his temper 3 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 2nd minute, one of Guañizuil:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Guañizuil. The referee gave Bajastine a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Placido Che, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Guañizuil's Adilson Ribeiro. 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Guañizuil's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Valerio came free, but Adilson Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaudencio Pasqual received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Aquiles Sarracino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Nemesio Tiadoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adilson Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Hanni in the 21st minute of the match. Guañizuil's Adilson Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Tiadoro in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Edelmiro Hanni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Edelmiro Hanni sped through Guañizuil's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adilson Ribeiro. In the 29th minute Edelmiro Hanni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Emanuel Timo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adilson Ribeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Adilson Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Hanni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Guañizuil's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Tiadoro came free, but Adilson Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guañizuil's Adilson Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Hanni in the 37th minute of play. Adilson Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Hanni in the 38th minute of play. Aquiles Sarracino came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Guañizuil's Vicente Bizi. But to his dismay, Vicente Bizi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The Guañizuil players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bajastine were winning 1-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaudencio Pasqual stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Bajastine's Tiburcio Valerio got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Edelmiro Hanni succeeded in the game's 64th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-5. Emanuel Timo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adilson Ribeiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Emanuel Timo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 67th minute. If Emanuel Timo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Guañizuil's Adilson Ribeiro got control of the ball when Edelmiro Hanni tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Nemesio Tiadoro took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for Adilson Ribeiro to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Bajastine getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Hilario Quirze hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Edelmiro Hanni notched a goal, 1-8, to the right of Guañizuil's Adilson Ribeiro. Adilson Ribeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
