Tomas Piarres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Chew having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Steven in the 95th minute of play forced Club Atlético Batán's goalkeeper Ali Chew to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Club Atlético Batán could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Libertad Sporting Club throughout the match.
