Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rogelio Sadurni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adilson Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Sadurni in the 52nd minute of the match. Vicente Bizi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Javiar having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Fábio Passos put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Genaro Javiar. Gaudencio Pasqual sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Fábio Passos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Genaro Javiar. That made the score 0-5 in the 63 minute of play. Genaro Javiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A LO GRANDE's Genaro Javiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Passos in the 69th minute of play. When Fábio Passos fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guañizuil's protests and gave Fábio Passos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd match minute, Guañizuil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Passos to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Rogelio Sadurni managed to get in a good position for a shot. A LO GRANDE's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Sadurni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adilson Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Felipe Sanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genaro Javiar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fábio Passos went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Guañizuil's Osvaldo Manny shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Genaro Javiar but with some difficulty. After 94 minutes of play, Guañizuil's Fábio Passos made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genaro Javiar was left in no man's land by his defense there! The A LO GRANDE supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Guañizuil's performance. The match ended with a win for Guañizuil.
