Froilan Crispo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Atarrabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteban Ugutz took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amado Manny. Amado Manny dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Va el Tercero's Amado Manny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Raitin in the 16th minute of play. Froilan Crispo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaston Francesco in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Gaston Francesco notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tigre's Froilan Crispo. Froilan Crispo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Gaston Francesco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Froilan Crispo was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaston Francesco in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Froilan Crispo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute Teo Raitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Manny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Va el Tercero's Bartolo Atarrabi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Froilan Crispo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 35th minute of the match, Gaston Francesco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Froilan Crispo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 41st minute, Arnaldo Urtsin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Teo Raitin made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Va el Tercero's Gaston Francesco got a free kick in the 57th minute. Esteban Ugutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Manny having to interfere. Gaston Francesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victoriano Rolado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Gaston Francesco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Va el Tercero's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaston Francesco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froilan Crispo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Va el Tercero's Gaston Francesco in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tigre's goalie prevented a goal. Froilan Crispo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Francesco in the 72nd minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Tigre's Teo Raitin in the 77th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Amado Manny was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Va el Tercero through an amazing save. Gaston Francesco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Francesco in the 90th minute of play forced Tigre's goalkeeper Froilan Crispo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
