The audience was convinced that Rogelio Sadurni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carmelo Jax was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Genaro Javiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inocencio Ceandro in the 20th minute. Ovidio Reynardo's late challenge caught a A LO GRANDE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
