The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9thth minute of the game Generoso Xabel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Andino S.C's Rodrigo Cortez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Club Atlético Batán's Ali Chew played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Solustiano in the 11th minute of play. When Generoso Xabel in the 14th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Rodrigo Cortez kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Julian Tonio kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Generoso Xabel put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rodrigo Cortez. The audience thought a goal was coming when Everardo Mederi got free with Rodrigo Cortez in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodrigo Cortez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Generoso Xabel's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Generoso Xabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Cortez having to interfere. Generoso Xabel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Rodrigo Cortez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Raimundo Socorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 56 minutes of play, Club Atlético Batán's Generoso Xabel made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Cortez was left in no man's land by his defense there! 60 minutes into the match, Andino S.C's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Xabel came free, but Rodrigo Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Hugo Nisio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Chew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Cortez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Generoso Xabel's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. When Generoso Xabel came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Club Atlético Batán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Generoso Xabel couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Andino S.C's Hugo Nisio got a free kick in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Generoso Xabel in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Cortez saved Andino S.C from getting behind. After 80 played minutes Club Atlético Batán got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Llorienzo. Andino S.C's Filiberto Mateo got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrigo Cortez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Generoso Xabel went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Rodrigo Cortez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Generoso Xabel's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Rodrigo Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Lehoi in the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Xabel in the 93rd minute of play forced Andino S.C's goalkeeper Rodrigo Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusebio Lehoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Cortez having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Club Atlético Batán players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
