Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingo Iztal to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Sabagasta defense, Domingo Iztal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Dolcet. The Sabagasta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Dolcet should have stopped the shot. If Domingo Iztal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, İskender Canatan made a precise shot to the right of Zacarias Ireno. Eldorado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. After 73 minutes Eldorado's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. Sabagasta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eldorado the free kick. Virgilio Nofre hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match.
