In the 37th minute, Ricardo Firme made a precise shot to the right of Jimeno Etxatxu. Club Atlético Ituzaingó's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After some careless play in the Ranquelcó defense, Cirilo Sanson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agustin Lando. The Ranquelcó fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agustin Lando should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Ranquelcó's Alejandro Aritza got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruno Nafarroa to strike the kick off in the second half. Lorenzo Matthew's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jimeno Etxatxu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. If Bruno Nafarroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 58 minutes, Bruno Nafarroa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Ituzaingó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Nafarroa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernesto Ramone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agustin Lando having to make a save. Agustin Lando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Nafarroa's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the game, Bruno Nafarroa lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Agustin Lando. If Lorenzo Matthew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Ramone kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Bruno Nafarroa got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cirilo Sanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Lando having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Ernesto Ramone got a free kick in the 85th minute. Agustin Lando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cirilo Sanson in the 89th minute.
