Sabagasta's Marco Dolcet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Sabagasta from getting a goal against them. 47 minutes into the match, Sabagasta's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Nafarroa came free, but Marco Dolcet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Sabagasta were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

54 minutes in the game, Virgilio Nofre fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jimeno Etxatxu having to interfere. In the 58thth minute of the game Bruno Nafarroa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sabagasta's Marco Dolcet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Club Atlético Ituzaingó getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Felix Hurko hit a great ball. Virgilio Nofre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Etxatxu having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Cirilo Sanson made a precise shot to the right of Marco Dolcet. Sabagasta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Virgilio Nofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Nofre took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimeno Etxatxu. Jimeno Etxatxu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3.
