No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clemente Theobald stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. General Alvear's Leopoldo Tadzio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by German Donzel in the 67 minute of the game. With a little luck, Sentimiento Rojo's Aaron Emesto got control of the ball when Clemente Theobald tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfredo Anaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Mano, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Angelino Berasko's late challenge caught a Sentimiento Rojo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Vitin in the 91st minute of play forced General Alvear's goalkeeper Alfredo Anaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sentimiento Rojo's goalkeeper Aaron Emesto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 98th minute, Nicasio Vitin made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Anaya. General Alvear's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sentimiento Rojo fully deserved thier win.
