With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felix Mero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amancio Enekoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Palmar's Jimeno Rius got a free kick in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Palmar's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Theobald came free, but Felix Mero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Vicente Liher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente Theobald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Felix Mero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. General Alvear played a much better game than Palmar and deserved their victory. The Palmar players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
