The supporters of Calamar FC booed when Red Bugs AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Nastasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Amado Millan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Red Bugs AC booed when Calamar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Maidana didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Arnulfo Nastasio came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Red Bugs AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Nastasio couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector Isias in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Oriche saved Calamar FC from getting behind. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Carolo Ricart kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Amado Millan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Lluterio having to interfere. Ubaldo Hurko was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Calamar FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Red Bugs AC:s goal. 66 minutes into the match, Calamar FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Oriche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Isias. Leopoldo Oriche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Bittor in the 67th minute of play. Hector Isias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th match minute, Red Bugs AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Dantel to maneuver through the defense. Hector Isias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Leopoldo Oriche made a huge save. If Amado Millan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopoldo Oriche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Bittor in the 89th minute of the match. The Calamar FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Red Bugs AC's performance. The match ended with a win for Red Bugs AC.
