Palmar's Felix Mero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Abechuco in the 3rd minute of play. Pascual Quintun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Evangelista in the 7th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Cipriano Gizon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmar's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Gizon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascual Quintun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Evangelista in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascual Quintun saved Pillahuincó AFC from getting behind. In the 21st minute Albano Fliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Mero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique Rey kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, one of Pillahuincó AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pillahuincó AFC. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Palmar. Mariano Hats stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pascual Quintun. 2-0. Denis Evangelista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Denis Evangelista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Vicente Liher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

After 52 minutes, Enrique Rey made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Palmar's Felix Mero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Enrique Rey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Felix Mero made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denis Evangelista in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pascual Quintun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jimeno Rius was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Palmar fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! The score was 2-2 after a penalty in the 68th minute, where Pillahuincó AFC:s Jairo Ralondo tricked Palmar:s Felix Mero with a difficult ball by the left post.
