In the 10thth minute of the game Clemente Theobald who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JuninFC's Evelio Precioso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Clemente Theobald cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Evelio Precioso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, JuninFC's Reynaldo Quirze got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 18 minutes, Amancio Enekoitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the General Alvear and the JuninFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of JuninFC booed when General Alvear was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Enekoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes JuninFC got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Luar. After 26 played minutes JuninFC got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Arnau. Jimeno Otsoa hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Jimeno Otsoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JuninFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimeno Otsoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. General Alvear's Alfredo Anaya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save General Alvear from getting a goal against them. Isidoro Lixandro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Evelio Precioso. JuninFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, JuninFC's Ildefonso Luar got a free kick in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Theobald in the 43rd minute of play forced JuninFC's goalkeeper Evelio Precioso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uriel Arnau during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

General Alvear's attentive Alfonso Illan managed to snatch the ball when Ceferino Ganix made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. After having played for 61 minutes, Clemente Theobald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Jimeno Otsoa came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the JuninFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimeno Otsoa couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the General Alvear defense, Jimeno Otsoa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Anaya. The General Alvear fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Anaya should have stopped the shot. If Alfonso Illan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. General Alvear's Alfonso Illan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ceferino Ganix in the 80 minute of the game. If Clemente Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in JuninFC's zone, Paulo Kaxen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evelio Precioso came out of the goal and Paulo Kaxen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, Uriel Arnau notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of General Alvear's Alfredo Anaya. Alfredo Anaya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Clemente Theobald received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Evelio Precioso came out and tried to block the shot, but Clemente Theobald slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 90th minute. The audience was convinced that Clemente Theobald's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evelio Precioso was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. General Alvear's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
