The audience was convinced that Ata Oykan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidro Veto was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Ata Oykan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Isidro Veto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, La Era Rosa's Bonifacio Formerio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Clemente Mazuste. Clemente Mazuste yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A collision led to Mangiaterra UTD getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Leon Rosario hit a great ball. If Ata Oykan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Senin during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Mangiaterra UTD getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jaime Senin hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulino Venceslas was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Ata Oykan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mangiaterra UTD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ata Oykan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidro Veto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Rosario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ata Oykan in the 54th minute of play forced La Era Rosa's goalkeeper Isidro Veto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urbano Millano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isidro Veto having to make a save. When Urbano Millano came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Mangiaterra UTD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbano Millano couldn't finish the play. Isidro Veto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Rosario in the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Mangiaterra UTD's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Formerio came free, but Clemente Mazuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mangiaterra UTD's Clemente Mazuste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Venceslas in the 65th minute of play. Bonifacio Formerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Mazuste having to interfere. Isidro Veto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ata Oykan in the 69th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Isidro Veto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Clemente Mazuste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Formerio in the 77th minute of the match. La Era Rosa's Joel Montxo suffered a sore thigh after 81 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Domingos Etxatxu's late challenge caught a La Era Rosa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingos Etxatxu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mangiaterra UTD getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Domingos Etxatxu hit a great ball. Ata Oykan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Isidro Veto made a huge save. Urbano Millano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Veto having to interfere. Urbano Millano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. La Era Rosa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
