Manuel Abancens charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Abancens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute, Manuel Abancens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogelio Confesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Senio in the 9th minute of play. Rogelio Confesor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Rodriguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saverio Normando kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CARCARAJO's Benigno Guerrero got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, CARCARAJO's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Lucila came free, but Rogelio Confesor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CARCARAJO's Rogelio Confesor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Senio in the 15th minute of play. Teofilo Rodriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruben Lucila kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Jimeno Venceslao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Rubio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Estefan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofilo Rodriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, CARCARAJO's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Abancens came free, but Rogelio Confesor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Darragueira were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

CARCARAJO's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Manuel Abancens scored to the left of an out of position Rogelio Confesor, making the score, 0-3. Ruben Lucila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Rogelio Confesor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to CARCARAJO getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Marcial Ramond hit a great ball. CARCARAJO's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Ruben Lucila scored to the left of an out of position Rogelio Confesor, making the score, 0-4. After 72 minutes of play, CARCARAJO's Jimeno Venceslao made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. German Rubio was left in no man's land by his defense there! 75 minutes into the match, CARCARAJO's goalkeeper Rogelio Confesor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddy Senio. Rogelio Confesor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Lucila in the 76th minute of the match. Freddy Senio took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogelio Confesor. Rogelio Confesor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. With an all-out effort, Darragueira's Rogelio Confesor threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teofilo Rodriguez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, CARCARAJO's Rogelio Confesor got control of the ball when Freddy Senio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rogelio Confesor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Rodriguez in the 89th minute of the match. Freddy Senio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Rogelio Confesor made a huge save. Darragueira played a much better game than CARCARAJO and deserved their victory. The CARCARAJO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
