Gaudencio Montez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 18 minutes, Mario Chorche mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Gallegos and the Bravos Muchachitos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gaudencio Montez struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. David Gilmore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bravos Muchachitos. In the 21st minute, Enrique Vitin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bravos Muchachitos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Enrique Vitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Gilmore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaudencio Montez's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. When Mario Chorche was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 41 minutes had been played. Mario Chorche hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaudencio Montez to strike the kick off in the second half. C. A. Gallegos's David Gilmore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Montez in the 54th minute of play. Fermin George kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes C. A. Gallegos got a freekick which was hit by Václav Jaroš. David Gilmore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Montez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Václav Jaroš hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaudencio Montez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, David Gilmore skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Gallegos's zone, Gaudencio Montez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Gilmore came out of the goal and Gaudencio Montez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Sergio Toli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fermin George fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Gilmore having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, C. A. Gallegos's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Montez came free, but David Gilmore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
