Adan Jaen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Guaberto Columbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guaberto Columbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Bakar in the 13th minute of play. Defensores de Tolkien's Desiderio Derwin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Defensores de Tolkien from getting a goal against them. Guaberto Columbo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adan Jaen went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Nemesio Bakar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nemesio Bakar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Columbo having to interfere. The supporters of Bravos Muchachitos booed when Defensores de Tolkien was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Udalaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores de Tolkien's zone, Enrique Vitin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Desiderio Derwin came out of the goal and Enrique Vitin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 36 played minutes Bravos Muchachitos got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Dantae. Defensores de Tolkien's Iker Udalaitz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bravos Muchachitos. Guaberto Columbo came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Tolkien's Nemesio Bakar. But to his dismay, Nemesio Bakar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Enrique Vitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adan Jaen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Defensores de Tolkien booed when Bravos Muchachitos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Felo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nemesio Bakar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Adan Jaen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Nemesio Bakar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Columbo having to interfere. Nemesio Bakar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Guaberto Columbo made a huge save. If Adan Jaen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nemesio Bakar took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guaberto Columbo. Guaberto Columbo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Enrique Vitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Derwin having to interfere. Nemesio Bakar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guaberto Columbo made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Nemesio Bakar sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute, Adan Jaen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guaberto Columbo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 92nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. If Adan Jaen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Defensores de Tolkien played a much better game than Bravos Muchachitos and deserved their victory. The Bravos Muchachitos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
