After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Faustino Stanislao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mataderos del Abuelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Stanislao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Tolino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cirilo Elia struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Emanuel Tolino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mataderos del Abuelo. 17 minutes into the match, Gallardistas's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Elia came free, but Emanuel Tolino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Mataderos del Abuelo's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Ricart came free, but Mauro Salvadore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Julio Tome made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Augusto Ricart's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauro Salvadore was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Mataderos del Abuelo's zone, Julio Tome stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Salvadore came out of the goal and Julio Tome tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Faustino Stanislao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. In the 57thth minute of the game Cirilo Elia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gallardistas's Emanuel Tolino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cleto Lauaxeta kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Mataderos del Abuelo's goalkeeper Mauro Salvadore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Tome. In the 65th minute, Julio Tome reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mauro Salvadore. The goal made the score 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Elia in the 71st minute of play forced Gallardistas's goalkeeper Emanuel Tolino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Julio Tome managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gallardistas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Tome was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Mataderos del Abuelo booed when Gallardistas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Cordareo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Adolfo Criston sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gallardistas's Emanuel Tolino didn't even have to move. When Augusto Ricart came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Gallardistas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Ricart couldn't finish the play. Julio Tome received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mauro Salvadore came out and tried to block the shot, but Julio Tome slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 88th minute. Julio Tome recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iker Bakar's late challenge caught a Gallardistas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iker Bakar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Iker Bakar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Gallardistas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gallardistas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
