The crowd rose to their feet as Inocencio Lopez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Prudencio Arlo. That made the score 1-4 in the 36 minute of play. Higinio Manuelo's late challenge caught a Rosario Central's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higinio Manuelo helped the player get up and apologised. Higinio Manuelo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. A collision led to Loventuel AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Fidel Francesco hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Rosario Central's Victorino Fernandez got a free kick in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rene Jacob was the one to do the kick off. Rosario Central's Júlio de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Jacob in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Loventuel AFC's Higinio Manuelo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Júlio de Senna. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Manuelo in the 67th minute of play forced Rosario Central's goalkeeper Júlio de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Francesco came free, but Júlio de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
