Taurus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaston Cordarrol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Juan Bertol made a precise shot to the right of Ovidio Caitano. Taurus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, Taurus's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Eguntsenti came free, but Ovidio Caitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, San Fernando Fútbol Club's Samuel Laffitte ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ovidio Caitano. Ovidio Caitano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaston Cordarrol made a kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidio Caitano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gaston Cordarrols short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Geronimo Argider to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. San Fernando Fútbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Bertol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Caitano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 83 played minutes Taurus got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Goren.
