The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Dante Berasko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Pollitos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Dante Berasko took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgard Bembe. Edgard Bembe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the last second Gervasio Jacindo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Faustino Fresco in the 28thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After some careless play in the Deportivo Villa Bosch defense, Ceferino Padro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgard Bembe. The Deportivo Villa Bosch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgard Bembe should have stopped the shot. When Jacinto Quilino fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Pollitos's protests and gave Jacinto Quilino a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Los Pollitos's Jacinto Quilino got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Edgard Bembe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Eleazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Deportivo Villa Bosch's Faustino Fresco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gervasio Jacindo. Gervasio Jacindo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faustino Fresco to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Rene Eleazar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edgard Bembe, 1-4. Los Pollitos's Gervasio Jacindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Fresco in the 55th minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gervasio Jacindo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edgard Bembe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Padro, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute.
