Manantial's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave gonza the free kick. Hector Artal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorato Salomon in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Salomon in the 51st minute of play forced gonza's goalkeeper Hector Artal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd minute, gonza's Aquiles Oxarra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. A collision led to gonza getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Aureliano Pero hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Manantial defense, Aquiles Oxarra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marciano Abadia. The Manantial fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marciano Abadia should have stopped the shot. Aureliano Pero's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marciano Abadia firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hector Artal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Herauso in the 75th minute of play. Vicente Flores scored 0-5 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marciano Abadia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Honorato Salomon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Hector Artal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Pero couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute, Delmar Jenaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquiles Oxarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Marciano Abadia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marciano Abadia made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Aureliano Pero sent off a good shot on target. gonza's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
