Raul Ranolfo charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raul Ranolfo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th match minute, Taurus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Ranolfo to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute Rafael Gitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Argider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidio Caitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Bertol in the 43rd minute of play. After 43 played minutes Taurus got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Urtun. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafael Gitano made a kick off. Geronimo Argider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Cordarrol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaston Cordarrol scored 1-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geronimo Argider, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 74 minutes into the match, Taurus's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Eguntsenti came free, but Ovidio Caitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. San Fernando Fútbol Club were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
