After a defensive mix-up in Taurus's zone, Delmar Mancio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Caitano came out of the goal and Delmar Mancio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Taurus's Ovidio Caitano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Henric in the 33rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Henric in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidio Caitano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ovidio Caitano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Henric, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Virgilio Eskuin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ovidio Caitano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 39 minutes into the match, Delmar Mancio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Taurus's Ovidio Caitano. Ovidio Caitano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 47thth minute of the game Alfredo Henric who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taurus's Ovidio Caitano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After 51 played minutes Pilciao got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Cordarrel. Taurus's Ovidio Caitano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Christobal in the 67th minute of play. Alfredo Henric received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ovidio Caitano came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfredo Henric slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 70th minute. Taurus's Ovidio Caitano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Taurus from getting a goal against them. Ovidio Caitano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgilio Eskuin in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Mancio in the 78th minute of play forced Taurus's goalkeeper Ovidio Caitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79thth minute of the game Alfredo Henric who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taurus's Ovidio Caitano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Pilciao fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Pilciao's Alfredo Henric looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eriberto Vela hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After 96 minutes, Leo Erroman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pilciao and the Taurus players grew even worse after the yellow card.
