The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Toribio in the 18th minute of play forced Tomy FC's goalkeeper Marcial Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnoldo Llanos kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Hugo Eufemio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nerd Old Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Eufemio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Mantzio made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Nicolas Dunixi sent off a good shot on target. Melchor Furman hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Anacleto Toribio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ezequiel Ibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Eufemio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iker Mantzio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ezequiel Ibañez's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Melchor Furman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tomy FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nerd Old Boys the free kick. After a rather tough play, Tomy FC's Melchor Furman got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 65 minutes, Leon Eate mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nerd Old Boys and the Tomy FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcial Arias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anacleto Toribio in the 90th minute. Iker Mantzio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolas Dunixi went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tomy FC fully deserved thier win.
