Honorio Medina started the match with the kick off. Bartolo Oinaz hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Lino Bilintx kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Leonel Oinatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Reynaldo Blanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Fortun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Medina in the 12th minute of play. When David Castulo fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maravilla's protests and gave David Castulo a yellow card for diving instead. David Castulo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Enrique Fortun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Weather went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 19th match minute, Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Quinteros to maneuver through the defense. Hipolito Dantel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enrique Fortun having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Maravilla's zone, Hipolito Dantel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Fortun came out of the goal and Hipolito Dantel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Alfonso Acosta in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Maravilla's Omar Millan. After a defensive mix-up in Futbol Moderno F.C's zone, Felipe Mikeldi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Blanco came out of the goal and Felipe Mikeldi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Maravilla booed when Futbol Moderno F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Urtats didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute Adolfo Quinteros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Blanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Adolfo Quinteros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maravilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Quinteros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Maravilla defense, Claudio Ilazki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Fortun. The Maravilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Fortun should have stopped the shot. Hipolito Dantel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Enrique Fortun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Claudio Ilazki notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Maravilla's Enrique Fortun. Enrique Fortun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Christian Weather had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felipe Mikeldi to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Maravilla's zone, Hipolito Dantel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Fortun came out of the goal and Hipolito Dantel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lino Bilintx during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lino Bilintx kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Vicente Iztal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Blanco having to interfere. Christian Weather might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrique Fortun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Weather ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Futbol Moderno F.C's Honorio Medina got a free kick in the 65th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Honorio Medina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Enrique Fortun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ciriaco Flores hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Lino Bilintx hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Maravilla's Enrique Fortun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Medina in the 95th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Futbol Moderno F.C were victorious despite being under pressure from Maravilla for much of the match.
