Newbery FC's Aquilino Nuno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Hever in the 16th minute of play. Mariano Hever took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquilino Nuno. Aquilino Nuno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Mariano Hever hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquilino Nuno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Hever, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 34 played minutes Newbery FC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Baudelio. Aquilino Nuno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Lore in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Newbery FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Hever came free, but Aquilino Nuno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquilino Nuno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Lore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Puntin y Salimos were awarded a corner. Manuel Lore went to the cornerflag to take it. The Puntin y Salimos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Hever made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Newbery FC's Aurelio Honesto got a free kick in the 50th minute. A hard shot 53 in the game by Mariano Hever from a close distance when the talented Aquilino Nuno managed to make a qualified save. Newbery FC's players were relieved. Aquilino Nuno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Hever, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. When the match was over Puntin y Salimos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Newbery FC throughout the match.
