The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Arnau during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anibal Gonzales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Eufemio in the 15th minute of play. Anibal Gonzales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Eufemio in the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Gualterio Mambru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JOTA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Mambru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gualterio Mambru came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the JOTA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualterio Mambru couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute Gavino Tono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Mantzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Anacleto Toribio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nerd Old Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anacleto Toribio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute Pedro Abarca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Mantzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Gualterio Mambru managed to get in a good position for a shot. JOTA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualterio Mambru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Mantzio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to JOTA FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Pablo Cristofor hit a great ball. A hard shot by Hugo Eufemio from long distance, 41 minutes into the match, got Anibal Gonzales's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Abarca to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Eufemio in the 52nd minute of play forced JOTA FC's goalkeeper Anibal Gonzales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Eufemio scored 1-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anibal Gonzales, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anacleto Toribio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Anibal Gonzales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aaron Arnau hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Anibal Peyo kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Pedro Abarca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iker Mantzio. Nerd Old Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Abarca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Saverio Dacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Gonzales having to interfere. Anacleto Toribio might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anibal Gonzales. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anacleto Toribio ran back to his position shaking his head. After 90 minutes of play, Nerd Old Boys's Hugo Eufemio made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anibal Gonzales was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Nerd Old Boys defense, Gavino Tono kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iker Mantzio. The Nerd Old Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iker Mantzio should have stopped the shot. Nerd Old Boys's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
