Spectators: 5800 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 50) When Aurelio Honesto came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Newbery FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Honesto couldn't finish the play. Aquilino Nuno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Quinteros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquilino Nuno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Quinteros in the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Newbery FC's goalkeeper Aquilino Nuno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Enrique Fortun was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Aurelio Honesto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aurelio Honesto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 21 played minutes Newbery FC got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Gartzi. A sloppy throw-in by Dante Esdras in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Newbery FC's Baldomiro Abechuco. After having played for 26 minutes, Adolfo Quinteros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maravilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Quinteros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Maravilla booed when Newbery FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Jon didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Enrique Fortun managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Newbery FC's Aurelio Honesto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolfo Quinteros made a kick off. Adolfo Quinteros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Aquilino Nuno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Maravilla booed when Newbery FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Abechuco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute of the game Gerardo Rocio made a throw-in which Amador Nuno played forward. 74 minutes into the match, Newbery FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Quinteros came free, but Aquilino Nuno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 2-2 became the score in the 86th minute when Adolfo Quinteros elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 88 minutes, Adolfo Quinteros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maravilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Quinteros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ezequiel Matro was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Muc in the 95th minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Enrique Fortun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maravilla were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
