In the 4th minute Hugo Eufemio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Nuno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venancio Rafe kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The long shot by Venancio Rafe in the 12th minute really tested Aquilino Nuno's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Nerd Old Boys booed when Newbery FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Gartzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Newbery FC's Santos Baudelio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Venancio Rafe in the 17 minute of the game. Newbery FC's Aquilino Nuno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Eufemio in the 19th minute of play. Iker Mantzio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Honesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. From close distance Hugo Eufemio pressed in the 1-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 30 minutes into the game. In the 35th minute Aurelio Honesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Mantzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Newbery FC's Aquilino Nuno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Eufemio in the 37th minute of play. Iker Mantzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Baudelio in the 38th minute of play. If Hugo Eufemio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Eufemios short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Aquilino Nuno to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Aurelio Honesto fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Newbery FC's protests and gave Aurelio Honesto a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Newbery FC's Aurelio Honesto got a free kick in the 46th minute. Aquilino Nuno made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Hugo Eufemio sent off a good shot on target.

Saverio Dacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquilino Nuno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Eufemio in the 53rd minute of the match. After 54 played minutes Nerd Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Toribio. Newbery FC's Adan Jon shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 56th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Iker Mantzio but with some difficulty. After 57 minutes, Baldomiro Abechuco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newbery FC and the Nerd Old Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. Baldomiro Abechuco hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Hugo Eufemio sped through Newbery FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aquilino Nuno. In the 69th minute, Aurelio Honesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Hugo Eufemio made a precise shot to the right of Aquilino Nuno. Newbery FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Iker Mantzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Honesto in the 84th minute of the match. Gerardo Rocio's late challenge caught a Nerd Old Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerardo Rocio helped the player get up and apologised. Nerd Old Boys's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
