Virgilio Vedillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Jiang Yang Nan hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Marcelino Handi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niceto Gamus scored 1-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lino Opilano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Erubiel Gartzi fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jutom Fc's protests and gave Erubiel Gartzi a yellow card for diving instead. Erubiel Gartzi hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute of the match Antonio Marques shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Virgilio Vedillo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Virgilio Vedillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Estebano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgilio Vedillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Estebano in the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Jutom Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Estebano came free, but Virgilio Vedillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timoteo Honrio to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcelino Handi struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Lino Opilano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jutom Fc. Niceto Gamus's late challenge caught a Cuipán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niceto Gamus helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Jutom Fc's Niceto Gamus got a free kick in the 54th minute. Antonio Marques took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Virgilio Vedillo. Jutom Fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Virgilio Vedillo made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Leonides Blasi sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Cuipán's Feliberto Estebano got a free kick in the 65th minute. Feliberto Estebanos short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Virgilio Vedillo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Florentino Tonete took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Virgilio Vedillo to make any attempt to save it. Feliberto Estebano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Virgilio Vedillo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Feliberto Estebano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Virgilio Vedillo firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Cuipán's Florentino Tonete slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Virgilio Vedillo. That made the score 1-4 after 85 minutes of play. Honorato Evangelista hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 92 minutes of play, Cuipán's Feliberto Estebano made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgilio Vedillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Cuipán left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jutom Fc.
