Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ismael Mancio to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Italó got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Nardo. Baldomiro Joachim was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ismael Mancio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Lucado having to interfere. Felipe Telesforo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rene Luar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Lugo in the 71st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Madriguera FC's goalkeeper Rogelio Lucado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Italó's Celestino Vachon shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 99th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rogelio Lucado but with some difficulty. Italó's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
