Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cosme Euloxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Dunixi, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. With a little luck, ElpataFC's Cristobal Duarte got control of the ball when Hermengildo Pio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10th minute Gaspar Naelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristobal Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Naelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind ElpataFC's goalkeeper Cristobal Duarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Emanuel Darien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Aaron Koldo put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of ElpataFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Frías FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 20 minutes, Frías FC's Gustavo Goito got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cristobal Duarte. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardo Lain in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosme Euloxu saved Frías FC from getting behind. In the 26th minute, Gaspar Naelio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Paolo Estevez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristobal Duarte having to make a save. If Gaspar Naelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 played minutes ElpataFC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Darien. Hermengildo Pio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Duarte having to interfere. Ismael Enaut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristobal Duarte made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Hermengildo Pio sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ricardo Lain managed to get in a good position for a shot. ElpataFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Lain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Euloxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ismael Enaut was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Frías FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Paolo Estevez hit a great ball. Ismael Enaut was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. ElpataFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ricardo Lain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Lain got free with Cosme Euloxu in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 65 minutes, Gilberto Baleren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frías FC and the ElpataFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute of the game, Osvaldo Gurutz landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 66 minutes, Marciano Gartzea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ElpataFC and the Frías FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes ElpataFC got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Gartzea. Cosme Euloxu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Lain in the 80th minute. Ismael Enaut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marciano Gartzea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Cosme Euloxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermengildo Pio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ricardo Lain came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the ElpataFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Lain couldn't finish the play. Frías FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ElpataFC for a fine match.
