The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Siro Ubendu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Duarte having to interfere. Narciso Gerazan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Cristobal Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorino Ur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonardo Christobal went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ricardo Lain charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardo Lain the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes ElpataFC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Lain. After a rather tough play, Almagro Vip's Siro Ubendu got a free kick in the 17th minute. Cosme Urdaspal charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosme Urdaspal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cosme Urdaspal hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Barea in the 20th minute of play forced ElpataFC's goalkeeper Cristobal Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st match minute, ElpataFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Dunixi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Barea in the 23rd minute of play forced ElpataFC's goalkeeper Cristobal Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Narciso Gerazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the match, Bartolo Barea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristobal Duarte. ElpataFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartolo Barea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Cristobal Dunixi charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Cristobal Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Barea in the 35th minute of play. Leonardo Christobal struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Victorino Ur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ElpataFC. After a rather tough play, ElpataFC's Ricardo Lain got a free kick in the 39th minute. Narciso Gerazan struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Cristobal Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almagro Vip. 45 minutes into the match, Almagro Vip's goalkeeper Victorino Ur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Lain. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Christobal to make the kick off. Cristobal Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Hermon, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Cristobal Duarte successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Emanuel Darien kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Bartolo Barea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victorino Ur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Dunixi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Cristobal Dunixi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ElpataFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 63rd minute, Almagro Vip's Narciso Gerazan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After having played for 66 minutes, Narciso Gerazan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almagro Vip's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Gerazan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victorino Ur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Lain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Ricardo Lain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 played minutes Almagro Vip got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Mateo. Ricardo Lain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Almagro Vip players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ElpataFC.
