Eusebio Ospetsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Veremundo having to interfere. If Ernesto Ritchie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusebio Ospetsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Veremundo having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, El Capi Fc's Ernesto Ritchie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norberto Veremundo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Eusebio Ospetsu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Veremundo was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Zacarias Bitxintxo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the match, El Capi Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Sal came free, but Zacarias Bitxintxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 51st minute, Delmar Osorio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Anastasio Orzaize received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Norberto Veremundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute Delmar Osorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Bitxintxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albino Sal might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zacarias Bitxintxo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albino Sal ran back to his position shaking his head. Zacarias Bitxintxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Osorio in the 61st minute of the match. Zacarias Bitxintxo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albino Sal in the 68th minute. Eusebio Ospetsu struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Norberto Veremundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Capi Fc. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Eusebio Ospetsu put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Norberto Veremundo. Ernesto Ritchie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Veremundo having to interfere. Kimberly Clark's Norberto Veremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Chago in the 83rd minute of play. When Eusebio Ospetsu came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the El Capi Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebio Ospetsu couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, El Capi Fc's Zacarias Bitxintxo got control of the ball when Albino Sal tried to sneak it across the goal line. 1-2 became the score in the 92nd minute when Delmar Osorio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. El Capi Fc's Zacarias Bitxintxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Dantae in the 96th minute of play. Chants of Kimberly Clark echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as El Capi Fc had held the ball for most of the match.
