But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Esteban couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, CA Once Pedacitos's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Esteban came free, but Maximino Mino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Mayhem's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Chayo came free, but Jaime Olentzaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Leandro Esteban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Mino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half CA Once Pedacitos were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leandro Esteban was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Pedrinho Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 51st minute of the match Natalio Ekialde shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaime Olentzaro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 54 minutes in the game Delmar Jusepe did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Natalio Ekialde. Ruperto Lidon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruperto Bernaldo might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximino Mino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruperto Bernaldo ran back to his position shaking his head. Maximino Mino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Esteban in the 60th minute of the match. After 60 minutes of play, Club Atlético Mayhem's Leandro Esteban made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximino Mino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leandro Esteban spun around in front of the goal 69 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of CA Once Pedacitos's goal. 72 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Mayhem's Cirilo Sances nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximino Mino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Ruperto Lidon came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jaime Olentzaro could save by the left post. If Leandro Esteban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CA Once Pedacitos! Leandro Esteban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Maximino Mino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pablo Orlandi fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Mayhem's protests and gave Pablo Orlandi a yellow card for diving instead. Pablo Orlandi kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Leandro Esteban's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximino Mino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. CA Once Pedacitos's Maximino Mino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Sances in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club Atlético Mayhem had played much better football throughout.
