He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Marciano Gartzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Christobal in the 13th minute of play forced Kimberly Clark's goalkeeper Norberto Veremundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Ismael Enaut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Kimberly Clark booed when ElpataFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Gartzea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute Simon Sanchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Veremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norberto Veremundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Enaut in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36thth minute of the game Ismael Enaut who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kimberly Clark's Norberto Veremundo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ismael Enaut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Perrando hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

ElpataFC's Cristobal Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Osorio in the 52nd minute of play. Norberto Veremundo was a little too slow when Simon Sanchez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-1. Cristobal Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Osorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Denis Baumer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nestor Frisco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristobal Duarte. ElpataFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 65th minute, Kimberly Clark's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ismael Enaut fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Marciano Gartzea hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. A hard shot 70 in the game by Leonardo Christobal from a close distance when the talented Norberto Veremundo managed to make a qualified save. Kimberly Clark's players were relieved. In the 76th minute Cipriano Raitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kimberly Clark's Norberto Veremundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Kimberly Clark from getting a goal against them. When Cipriano Raitin came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Kimberly Clark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Raitin couldn't finish the play. The Kimberly Clark fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ElpataFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
