Kimberly Clark's Norberto Veremundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Kimberly Clark from getting a goal against them. Norberto Veremundo made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Ciro Isaio sent off a good shot on target. Ciro Isaio came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Norberto Veremundo could save by the left post. Esteve Abaurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 32 minutes into the match, Kimberly Clark's goalkeeper Norberto Veremundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Isaio. Atilano Lartaun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Raitin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The supporters of Lunatik booed when Kimberly Clark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Madaleno didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Raitin in the 56th minute of play forced Lunatik's goalkeeper Atilano Lartaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The coaching staff of Kimberly Clark protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Baldomero Marin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. Lisandro Goi did an outstanding performance 74 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-1 to the right of an irritated Norberto Veremundo in the goal. Lunatik's Ciro Isaio got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Isaio in the 81st minute of play forced Kimberly Clark's goalkeeper Norberto Veremundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lunatik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteve Abaurre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 100 minutes into the match, Ciro Isaio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Norberto Veremundo. Kimberly Clark's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciro Isaio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kimberly Clark players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lunatik.
