After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Leonides Gudesteo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salazar's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonides Gudesteo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliciano Berdaitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Horacio Cebo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute of the match Salvador Erramu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julian Olayo skillfully saved the ball. Santiago Ilixo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Julian Olayo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Rosales booed when Salazar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Paio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaias Oriche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliciano Berdaitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaias Oriche's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Rosales's Salvador Erramu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Julian Olayo but with some difficulty. A collision led to Salazar getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Isaias Oriche hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Salazar's goalkeeper Julian Olayo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Rosales's zone, Leonides Gudesteo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliciano Berdaitz came out of the goal and Leonides Gudesteo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the game, Diego Paio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salazar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosales the free kick. A collision led to Salazar getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Diego Paio hit a great ball. If Isaias Oriche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After 54 minutes, Isaias Oriche mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salazar and the Rosales players grew even worse after the yellow card. Isaias Oriche kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Chap in the 64th minute of play forced Salazar's goalkeeper Julian Olayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Salazar's zone, Gaspar Chap stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Olayo came out of the goal and Gaspar Chap tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th match minute, Salazar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Eguntsenti to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Leonides Gudesteo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rosales's Feliciano Berdaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Gudesteo in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Isaias Oriche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonides Gudesteo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Guillermo Umbruso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaias Oriche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Isaias Oriche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Berdaitz having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Leonides Gudesteo managed to get in a good position for a shot.
