Brice Quigley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Erroman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristobal Cordarrell kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Abelardo Bittor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Iraido having to interfere. Leopoldo Erroman's late challenge caught a AMERICA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopoldo Erroman helped the player get up and apologised. Leopoldo Erroman hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Abelardo Bittor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Iraido was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Abelardo Bittor succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Itape's Tomás Iraido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Bittor in the 54th minute of play. Tomás Iraido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Bittor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Rivero might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Iraido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mario Rivero ran back to his position shaking his head. Abelardo Bittor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute Abelardo Bittor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Iraido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Erroman in the 69th minute of play forced AMERICA's goalkeeper Brice Quigley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AMERICA were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
