Kléberson Quadros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Brice Quigley made a huge save. Mario Rivero struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Humberto Paulista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AMERICA. In the 20th match minute, Club Malvinas Argentinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Lastur to maneuver through the defense. Brice Quigley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnulfo Estevon went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Brice Quigley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Aresti in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Club Malvinas Argentinas booed when AMERICA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Chorache didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnulfo Estevon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brice Quigley having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Kléberson Quadros notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of AMERICA's Brice Quigley. Brice Quigley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 44th minute, Kléberson Quadros made a precise shot to the right of Brice Quigley. AMERICA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Aresti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Arnulfo Estevon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brice Quigley was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 65 minutes into the match, AMERICA's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Obano came free, but Brice Quigley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 played minutes Club Malvinas Argentinas got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Lastur. Humberto Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Lain in the 68th minute of the match. Miguel Aresti scored 6-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brice Quigley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abelardo Bittor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Abelardo Bittor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brice Quigley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Estevon in the 94th minute of the match. Club Malvinas Argentinas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
