Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dalmacio Urtats started the match with the kick off. Leon Gonzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Librado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofilo Rosio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Pacho having to interfere. Teofilo Rosio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalmacio Urtats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Gonzo having to interfere. After having played for 12 minutes, Dalmacio Urtats managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jasimaná's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Urtats was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Rancios CdB's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Ricart came free, but Leon Gonzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dalmacio Urtats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Librado in the 20th minute of play forced Rancios CdB's goalkeeper Leon Gonzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Gonzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Librado, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Teofilo Rosio came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Rancios CdB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Rosio couldn't finish the play. Leon Gonzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Librado in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Rancios CdB's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Urtats came free, but Leon Gonzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tomás Toribio fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rancios CdB's protests and gave Tomás Toribio a yellow card for diving instead. Tomás Toribio kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rancios CdB's zone, Dalmacio Urtats stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Gonzo came out of the goal and Dalmacio Urtats tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leon Gonzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Librado in the 37th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Jasimaná's corner Hernan Ieltxu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leon Gonzo quite easily take care of the ball. Dalmacio Urtats struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Leon Gonzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jasimaná. In the 42nd minute, Gaudencio Ladio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeledon Librado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Zeledon Librado made a precise shot to the right of Leon Gonzo. Rancios CdB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The Rancios CdB players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jasimaná were winning 0-1.

Leon Gonzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Urtats in the 56th minute of the match. If Teofilo Rosio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalmacio Urtats recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute, Hipolito Bonifaco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jasimaná fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 72nd minute, Jasimaná's Dalmacio Urtats ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leon Gonzo. Leon Gonzo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. With a little luck, Rancios CdB's Leon Gonzo got control of the ball when Zeledon Librado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zeledon Librado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Jasimaná could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rancios CdB throughout the match.
