Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5509, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leopoldo Erroman started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Club A. Victoriano Arena's Fidel Rio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Iraido made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Club A. Victoriano Arena's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Erroman came free, but Isidoro Felo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedicto Cai hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Urbano Baudelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itape's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbano Baudelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidoro Felo came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Itape's Leopoldo Erroman. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Erroman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Urbano Baudelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Nuñez in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Iraido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Itape getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Leopoldo Erroman hit a great ball. If Leopoldo Erroman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 minutes of play, Itape's Leopoldo Erroman made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidoro Felo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isidoro Felo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leopoldo Erroman went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. When Benedicto Cai came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Itape fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Cai couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Isidoro Felo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alan Varela. 59 minutes into the match, Itape's Urbano Baudelio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidoro Felo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Club A. Victoriano Arena booed when Itape was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Erroman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Mazuste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Urbano Baudelio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 77 minutes into the match, Itape's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Maidana came free, but Tomás Iraido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Club A. Victoriano Arena's Isidoro Felo got control of the ball when Urbano Baudelio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Club A. Victoriano Arena's Isidoro Felo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Erroman in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Rafael Janpier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itape's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club A. Victoriano Arena the free kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Itape eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
